WHICH ISN'T AS EXCITING AS WHAT YOU THINK. :(

I really have nothing to talk about haha but my holiday's coming real soon (YIPPEE but that means exams are nearing as well wtf) and the coming week's gonna be a pretty exciting one. Really looking forward to next week!

Like I've said in my previous previous post, I've been really lazy with makeup recently haha.
Have been trying to embrace my natural tapered eyelids 'cause in person, double eyelid tapes are really hideous, though I have to say parallel eyelids are definitely nicer. T _ T

I went to town to look for Rachell 'cause she was doing her flea!!! :D

After that, I went to look for a dress for an upcoming event. IT'S REALLY TOUGH WORK MAN, but I ended up with something nice. :D

That's pretty much all HAHA.

Youtube Fan Fest!

It has been a really busy week!! I attended two days of Youtube fan fest and have been preparing for the outfit tomorrow (Social Star Awards)!
I usually stay at home and do nothing at all so a little bit of new events in my life = exciting for me and keeps me busy.

Anyway, thanks to Churpchurp for the tickets to Youtube Fanfest!! It was fantastic because I get to see so many stars in two nights haha. I don't think I've met any stars in my life before other than Tsubasa Masuwaka lol.

At first we get to choose which day we want to attend (And I chose Day Two because Ryan's on the second day) but I know more stars on Day One so I've been wanting to go for day one as well.....

So I joined Shigga Shay for Day One since he has extra tickets HAHA THANK YOU! :D

Anyway, on Day One, COOKING WITH DOG WAS THEREEEEEE.

I have to say they have the BEST cooking show on YouTube. Super easy to learn!!! I learned Tofu Dango from Cooking with Dog too and my bff LOVES it. xD

Namewee! I didn't know who he is but he turns out to be a really talented guy from Malaysia! Love his Thai Love Song haha.

I probably live under a rock in a mountain because I had no idea who is David Choi either HAHAHA. I really don't know a lot of YouTube stars. I'm so amazed by all these talented people after attending fanfest haha.

I attended the Social Star Awards the other day! If you were there, I'm sure you know how epic the performance was. :D

Really honoured to be invited by Starcount, along with Ridhwan and Jian Hao to walk the Red carpet. Not fake one ok hahaha. I was soooo nervous when we were reaching the crowd but sooo happy after we stepped out of the car because the crowd was just...fantastic!!

Thanks for cheering, thanks for screaming my name, I was blinded and deafened by the awesomeness of everything but I heard my name. :')

Anyway, here's my Red carpet get-up!!

I'm so glad I found a dress of my size!!!! T _ T PRAISE THE LORD.

Anyway, my personal favourite was PSY's performance! Everyone was getting tired near the end of the show but he managed to hype things up and everyone totally went cray with him. His performance was amazing.

After the concert, we went for the after party at skypark. (and I'm honestly not a party person so I left early with hao)

Anyway, I heard from so many people that "Your trip to Singapore is incomplete if you don't visit this infinity pool at MBS." O_O As a local, I've never been to the infinity pool before lol.

So this is my very first time. I'll go and swim there someday!!!!! Looks really cool.

Met a lot of YouTube stars there! Super starstruck everywhere I go haha.

Though I didn't get to meet Ryan (which is the whole reason why I'm there for lol.), I guess this is enough to compensate haha.

I've been getting really busy lately. It's the school holiday, and I guess it's good that I'm keeping myself busy with things that I can't be busy with when my school reopens.

Being busy is great though. I get to be distracted so I won't be annoyed by things I shouldn't even care about.

Anyway, some pictures I took after snapping some pics for adverts. To compensate the lack of updates!

Tried on new lenses! Still like grey lenses more than any other colours!

So what am I busy with recently?
I'm preparing for something really huge! I hope all of you will like it as much as I do because I haven't get to sleep for like two nights already. I have to blame the lack of sleep that is screwing my temper up.
Can't tell you what it is now but please keep close and wait for it!!! :D

I've been watching a lot of movies and shows online to keep myself entertained, besides being busy over that big launch! I don't usually do that yknow. Usually I'll just scroll through Twitter and Instagram the whole day haha.

Did I mention I got my ring light? HAHA It has been quite some time already, that explains the ring of light in my eyes. This is the first time I use my camera to camwhore under the ring light.
I COULD SEE MY PORES before I edit the lighting wtf.

Anyway, I bought bobo the other day at Bugis!!! :D Always wanted one to hug to sleep (despite having a dozen of plushies on my bed already wtf)!

NOW IT'S MY BESTFRIEND. Maybe we can make the BFF tag together or smth. :D JKKK LOL.

Happy theme park day

I rarely go out with my little sister alone because she's the youngest at home and I guess it's only normal for all of us to think she's STILL too young to head out although she's already 13.

But anyway, we decided to have a quick sister-time at USS yesterday! :D

It was good 'cause I can't find a friend to go USS with me though I really wanted to.

So yay!!!

Another good thing is that USS has this promotion going on so students like us get to have great privileges. And as kiasu as anyone else can be, GOT PROMOTION = MUST GO haha.

I HATE CROWDS and it's the weekday so there were lesser people around!! :D

Who likes queues, who likes to squeeze with sweaty people?!?!

It's my second or third time at USS so I wasn't that crazy when I went in haha, since I've seen everything before already!! I remember I was soooo mad, running all around taking pictures like a tourist high on drugs wtf.

HAHAHA BUT I STILL TOOK A LOT OF PICTURES though I wasn't acting like a tourist high on drugs. Light makeup for theme park day! :D

Oh and yes this is my meimei! :D We don't look alike. One reason is because I have makeup on and she doesn't HAHA. Another reason is because....WE ARE BORN LIKE THAT LA I DON'T KNOW WHY.

I thought my favourite ride was Transformers but I changed my mind this time round.

I really like The Mummy!!!

It really depends on the seat you get though. I thought Transformers was fantastic 'cause I managed to get the front row and everything turned out to be so realistic! This time I got the second row and it's not as good already. :(

Also sat the supposedly new Sesame Street Ride HAHA.

What's up Big Bird and your flying spaghetti and meatballs!

I have this weird habit of standing with my legs twisted like that HAHA. I think it helps to cover up my skinny legs. It's a good pose for people who have horrendously skinny legs though. xD

Everything's expensive in USS so we decided to go take some pictures when we take a rest!

Damn step right, our pictures HAHAHA.

Universal Studio's a really good place to snap nice pictures though. xD If you want to act like a professional photographer, you can go there 'cause every angle you snap, the photo will turn out artistic haha.

Love when the park's about to close because all the rides will have the SHORTEST QUEUE EVERRRR and we can take the rides so many times.

Anyway, our dinner at Ajisen, after the day at the theme park.

Brought my family to The King Louis for a scrumptious meal the other day!

I'm sure you've seen The King Louis before!

It's located at Vivo City, right next to Daiso on the third floor.

Courtesy to The King Louis, they hosted a meal for my family and I.

Just as the slogan states, FEAST LIKE KINGS.

Kings feast in huge quantity, but also at the finest quality.

I was told the portion will be large but I wasn't told it's gonna be THAT large.

Signature Mushroom Soup - $8.90

Pumpkin Soup - $7.90

The bowl of soup was so huge, I need to share with someone else.

I was told that the soups are freshly made - grinded and blended from the main ingredient (Mushroom/pumpkin).

Teriyaki Chicken Salad - $13.80

Fresh garden salad topped with grilled chicken breast meat topped in teriyaki sauce and parmesan cheese.

Definitely the BEST salad I've ever tried and I'll go back just to have this!!!

Super good, especially the savoury sauce.

Platter C - $21.90

Includes castle drumlets, banana bacon bites, golden calamari, prawn twisters, crispy wedges and also salad.

I LOVE THE BANANA BACON BITE. Sweet and salty. I LOVE BACONS.

The Queen Victoria (serves 4-5pax/ Meat & Seafood) - $166.50

The King Louis serves amazing huge platters like the above so I'll recommend you to bring a huge group of friends along.

They serve smaller portions as well but I'm sure you'll want to feast like kings instead hahaha. It's quite fascinating to see this huge platter.

Includes Roasted beef with black pepper sauce, Premium BBQ baby back ribs, Pan sneared snapper with wasabi mayo sauce, Oven baked king prawns with melted Australian cheese, Sautéed scallop with garlic and wine sauce.

My favourite in the platter has got to be the scallop and baby ribs!

And what's a good meal without DESSERTS?!?!

Chocolate Macadamia with Ice Cream - $7.90

Hazelnut Dacquoise with Ice Cream - $7.90

Though I was already really full from the meal, there are still enough space for some yummy desserts haha. I really like the Hazelnut Dacquoise because it reminds me of Nutella lol. AND who doesn't like Nutella?? If you loveeeee hazelnut, that's the cake you should go for.

The King Louis is the perfect place to dine-in with your friends and family. It's known as a family restaurant too! Don't you love the design of The King Louis? I always stop and stare at this restaurant 'cause it resembles a castle.

Anyway, Father's day is coming this weekend and The King Louis came up with a promotion for your daddy!

My new online store!

The huge thing I've been preparing and also mentioned quite a number of times is actually the launch of my very own online store!

I have a little dream after I became a blogger haha. I want to start up my own clothing line. It's nearly impossible for now so I thought maybe starting up an online store will be something more realistic.

At first I was like "Hey it's not gonna be that hard!!" and I absolutely proved myself wrong lol.

IT WAS SO TOUGH because I had to do EVERYTHING myself.
From template designing to modelling the clothes to photoshoot to settling the stocks, choosing the clothes that are good enough to sell and all that.

I wanted to sell clothes that I will personally wear as well! I know most of my readers really like some of the clothes I wear so this may also be a good way to reach out to all of you.

I named my shop SPEISHOP. Everytime I go into my webshop I feel a little too self-obsessed wtf.

HAHAHAHA I thought putting my name and myself in my shop will be easier for my readers to recognize. xD Now it's more like don't recognize also cannot lol.

Plus my budget super tight so everything must do myself.

Just so you know, not everyone wants to look skinny. Millionth time I'm saying this but I want to grow fatter and I JUST CAN'T because my body don't function like yours. I'm probably an alien okay? Eating a lot don't work and don't fcking say I'm anorexic I'll dig out your innards and burn them (not really) but just don't. I probably eat ten times more than you.

It has been a while since I wanted to touch on this topic but I don't know where I should start, and it's also a pretty sensitive topic - given my standard of English - I don't think I will be able to write out how I feel and what I want to say exactly.

That aside, here is what triggered me to write this post.

How insensitive some people are.

I'm 153cm, 32kg. I look horribly skinny and I can't grow fat for whatever the heck I eat.
Because of this, people tends to assume that I'm someone who doesn't eat a lot, or in worse cases, some people thought I starve myself just to maintain this skeleton figure I have.

Because of that terrible misunderstanding - most of them thought I am suffering from ANOREXIA.

I know I'm not the only skinny people out there who gets exposed to all sorts of negative comments about our body figures, which is why I'm writing this post to let other skinny people know THAT THEY ARE NOT ALONE.

First of all, people take the word ANOREXIA / ANOREXIC way too lightly.
I have friends who likes to call me anorexic as a joke and I'll just smile and try to brush it off because I don't want to appear as a petty freak but truth is - IT FCKING HURTS.
Being able to joke about this shows how they don't think it's anything serious at all, and most of them don't even know the meaning of anorexia or anorexic, and just throwing the word around simply.

Here's the actual definition of it - from wikipedia.

Anorexia nervosa is an eating disorder characterized by immoderate food restriction and irrational fear of gaining weight, as well as a distorted body self-perception. It typically involves excessive weight loss and is usually found more in females than in males. Because of the fear of gaining weight, people with this disorder restrict the amount of food they consume. This restriction of food intake causes metabolic and hormonal disorders. Outside of medical literature, the terms anorexia nervosa and anorexia are often used interchangeably; however, anorexia is simply a medical term for lack of appetite, and people with anorexia nervosa do not in fact, lose their appetites. Patients suffering from anorexia nervosa may experience dizziness, headaches, drowsiness and a lack of energy.

It is an EATING DISORDER, IRRATIONAL FEAR OF GAINING WEIGHT, AND A DISTORTED BODY SELF-PERCEPTION.

It's more like a mental problem which hence causes a change physically.

Being skinny DOES NOT mean that person is anorexic. How much do you know just by looking at his/her appearances?
On top of that, what if a person really happens to have anorexia? How will he/she react to your 'joke'?

On the other hand, why will some people suffer from anorexia anyway? BECAUSE OF INSENSITIVE PEOPLE who teases skinny people about how FAT they look when they actually really aren't.

There are people who are born to be skinny, and no matter how hard they try to grow fatter, they can't.
Just like how fat people dislike being called fat, skinny people dislike being called skinny either.

I don't get why that is to everyone, fat people will be hurt when disgusting insults are being thrown at them, but skinny people wouldn't.

To add on, there are many fat people who tried really hard, risking their lives to become skinnier just to fit into nice dresses.
It is not a nice thing to hear, and me, too, will not want ANY of them to go through any miserable times just to be skinnier.

However, just because there are many many news about fat people trying too hard to become skinny, are you neglecting the skinny people who are trying too hard to become fatter?

It's good to console people who needs consolation but pulling others down just to make oneself feel better isn't a good way either.

There are many people out there, especially on the internet, pulls out ALL the disadvantages of being skinny and how disgustingly ugly it is to be skinny instead of fat.

MIND YOU, IF YOU'RE TRYING TO SAVE LIVES, YOU'RE DOING IT SO WRONG.

Even though it's sad and you don't want fat people to kill themselves due to their strong desire to be skinny, you do not have to bring in skinny people and insult them.

Isn't it funny how you're trying to save their lives but at the same time, trying to kill another?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say how GOOD being skinny is AT ALL - I just want people to know how difficult it is for skinny people to have to suffer from all these insults. People NEEDS to know how much it hurts for us as well.

Not EVERYONE wants to be skinny.

Lastly, it's not good to be TOO SKINNY or TOO FAT. We all know, I'm sure about it.

However,

If we have a choice, who wouldn't want to look perfect?

Who wouldn't want to have a figure similar to a VS model?
Who wouldn't want to look good and feel confident?

It's not easy - but your insensitivity and ignorance aren't helping either.

Just another day with my little sister at the theme park!

We bought the half year unlimited access pass so we get to go in as and when we want to, for now! :)

Everytime I visit USS, I find it a necessity to snap some pictures before leaving, even though I've already taken quite a lot before haha.

Having to whip out a whole new set of pictures from USS to blog about is quite difficult actually!

Managed to take a picture with this pink sesame street character, ABBY!

We were the last in the queue to snap a pic so we rushed like mad LOL.

Also bumped into the ogre couple - Shrek and Fiona! :D

That's me looking quite....unglamorous hahaha. The turkey leg's pretty good!

Even though it's not the first time I've been to USS, it's the first time I took the madagascar carousel!

I was so excited to get the giraffe haha.

Hello!
Few days ago, I uploaded my new makeup tutorial - Korean Inspired Dewy Makeup Look!
It has been one of the makeup looks that I really really adore and has been wanting to do a tutorial on it, so finally, here it is~

It is one of my favourite makeup looks because it looks very natural and is really quick and easy to do.
I've been doing this makeup for quite some time now while I was embracing my natural tapered eyelids lol.

Another thing I love about this is the illusion (or not) of DEWY skin!
Who doesn't like youthful bouncy face without any pores?

One thing I noticed from Ulzzangs (Korea's Best Faces) are their PERFECT skin. Another thing I noticed is that their skin all look very dewy and bouncy which is why it gives us an illusion of a poreless baby face!

Anyway, I forgot to add mascara in the video. You can leave your lashes the way it is or just curl it a little!
What I usually like to do is to leave it alone HAHA but when I have to take pictures, I'll coat it with a thin coat of mascara and comb my lashes through using an eyelash comb. This way, it takes away the clumps and slightly darkens + thickens your lashes in the most natural way. :D

A really old picture of me that I found in the trashbin LOL.
Haven't really update you about my life recently, and yeah, I feel a little guilty.

I've been very busy lately haha. I have been doing pretty well in school (at least for tests) although I didn't touch any notes at all, but I guess it's all because of LUCK. Hopefully this sustains so I will graduate!

Recently, my mood haven't been really up and good because of certain things. Not sure how to describe it but...have you ever felt like you're the least important person in the world, and even if you aren't around, no one will notice it? It's hard not to think about it when everyone's doing the same thing to you.
It's rather disappointing to know although everyone seems to be by your side, you will still be the only one fighting the war.
Expectation leads to disappointment. Maybe I've been expecting too much. Or maybe I'm just not good enough.
Sometimes, it annoys me that I can't stay mad at people for long. By long I mean within 5 minutes I'll stop being angry with a person although I am still infuriated. I probably like to divert all the anger back at myself.

I hate it when people compare me with someone else. It makes me feel like I can easily be replaced and forgotten. I hate it when people make it seem like I'm less important compared to someone else, and I hate it when everyone's making me feel like without me, everything will be the same as it can be.

Anyway, Speishop will be coming up with new clothes soon but I can't find time to go for shoots yet! I've stocked up some apparels that are running low in stock so you can all get the pretty clothes. :) www.speishop.com

Strangers' Reunion

Not so much of a 'Strangers' Reunion' that night at Strangers' Reunion cafe because I get to enjoy a great dinner with the loveliest people that not only me, but you, are familiar with. :)

Thanks to Nuffnang, I had a scrumptious meal at Strangers' Reunion with Rachell and a lot other bloggers! Met some new pretty faces, and they are all really nice!

I was really happy to see this btw!!!

I don't know about you but I like it when people leave my name on things they specially prepared for me haha, makes me feel a little more special!

Aaaaand gorgeous coffee art!! Not a coffee person so this is my very first coffee with pretty coffee art, yippeeee!

Not sure if this is considered an appetiser. It was placed on the table as a snack before the other food arrived.

I'm not a food blogger so I have no idea how to describe food that well xD. All I can say is they were all really good, at least for me!

I like this Egg Net Tempura Soft Shell Crab Burger! The soft shell crab was the best I've ever had, quite juicy even though I didn't dunk any sauce. I thought it will be really dry. :O

MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE IS THIS BUTTERMILK WAFFLE!!!!
So damn good I can eat ten of that now HAHAHAHA. *_*
The one in the picture above is with artisan yogurt & fresh fruits! I tried the one with vanilla ice cream and it was just as good! T _ T

The waffles are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The yogurt/ice cream + waffle are like MATCH-MADE IN HEAVEN.

CAN I PLEASE HAVE ONE NOW? PLEASE?!

The people at Strangers' Reunion were very hospitable and they even prepared homemade jams for us to bring home! ^_^

I got the Red Wine Wild Blackberry Jam!

I just tried it this morning with white bread and it was gooooood. Also, bread + homemade jam = SUPER HEALTHY.

Had super light makeup on that day for dinner! ^_^
I WORE SNEAKERS HAHA and everyone was SOOOO TALL. O_O

Nonetheless, I had a great night meeting all the pretty bloggers~

I wanted to do Lee Hyori's 'Bad Girls' MV eye makeup after watching a video of the actual makeup artist of Lee Hyori doing on a model!

Don't look difficult at all because she didn't spend too much time on eyeshadows & the main focus was on the eyelashes + eyebrows........which I decided to give the lashes and brows a pass because they are too dramatic for me! So I ended up recreating the look into my own style HAHAHAHA.

Apparently, the eyebrows the makeup artist did on Hyori was very thin and black, and she used three pairs of eyelashes stacked together! O_O

My eyes were too swollen and I look like I have mono lids that day so when I open my eyes, everything's hidden. T _ T

The makeup is quite easy and fun to do though!

AND HOW DO I LOOK WITH MY FRINGE MESSY LIDDIS?! HAHAHA! I tried to tong it upwards but they decided to fall down and become messy so....WHY NOT JUST WERK IT *insert fabulous girl emoticon* *and sparkles* (didn't werk it very well tho haha)
