HAHA and SKULL

It was marked as one of the happiest night of my life. :D
I never knew being a fan girl can be such a fun thing if we get to see our idols upclose - especially when I'm talking about fan-girling over someone who is almost 15 years older than me lol.

Soooo, the other day, I was being sad and lonely at home because my family went overseas and I had no plans for that day...and this very nice fan of mine dropped me an email, telling me that she has extra tickets for the Sheng Siong Show.

Honestly, Sheng Siong Show isn't that much of an excitement for me because I don't really watch TV but I've heard about Ha Dong Hoon's appearance on the Sheng Siong Show that night so I happily agreed and met her to get the pair of tickets for the show! Anyway, I wanted to get a pair of tickets for the show that night either but I couldn't because I didn't know how to... (Thank you love!)

I went there with Rachell and we were a little late. Apparently, the door was opened for seating at 6:30pm and we reached there at 7:15pm. *wipes perspiration*

The whole theatre was already packed with HaHa fans so we, unfortunately, got to sit at the very side where we will only catch a glimpse of HaHa if he were to walk all the way out near the edge of the stage. T _ T

BUT FORTUNATELY, some very nice fans told their daddy and gave both of us a seat each at the centre front row!!! T _ T

I'm super super super touched by all of you, thank you thank you thank you!!! :')

So check this out, we kind of got the BEST seats in the entire theatre.

We did some test shots just in case HaHa were to walk down the aisle beside me HAHAHAHA. I'm at the top corner so if he were to run up here, I'll get to touch him la. *tiko face* *smirks*

How to get rid of frizzy hair.

I face this huge problem for my hair as well....

FRIZZINESS.

I will love to get rid of dry, frizzy hair either but frizzy hair seems to love me very much! It doesn't want to leave me at all, no matter how much I've tried to push it away from me lol.

As many of you emailed me regarding messy, dry, frizzy hair, I decided to just do up a post for all of you!

Although it's almost impossible for me to get rid of the frizziness in my hair, there are some ways I've tried that managed to tame my hair and make it less frizzy.

1) Hair Treatment (Salon's)

This is the MOST effective way although it doesn't last very long.

I love the result from hair treatments because my hair looks almost near perfection after it lol.

SMOOTH + MANAGEABLE + NO FRIZZ which is exactly what I've always wanted!

It will usually last me for about a week!

I went for a shoot for my shop a day after I did hair treatment and as you can see from the picture above, my hair looks really smooth and frizz-free!

I do my hair at SALON VIM - and I've been loving their PRIVY HAIR TREATMENT because I swear (not because I'm sponsored or anything) that is the most AMAZING treatment I've ever done.

Nay side when it comes to hair treatment in salons is the high maintenance as you will have to go back regularly to keep your hair frizz-free but it's also the most effective way to keep your hair smooth.

I haven't try any other ways that works better yet so if you're desperate - this is it.

2) Hair mask

I use KAO's Essential Damage Care Hair mask as it's one of the best hair mask that I've been using even before I got a hair sponsor haha.

Probably one of the most promising hair masks I've used. On top of that, it smells really yummy haha.

Anyway, hair mask is the way to go if you have a tight budget but want to have nice frizz-free hair.

The way you use your hair mask is very important as it affects the result! When I started using hair mask, I apply a little bit on the ends, clip all my hair up and wait for about 10 minutes before washing.

That didn't really work out so well (although it still works to a certain extent). We all know how stubborn frizzy hair can be at times!!

Now, I'm using my hair mask EVERYDAY. I'm sure you're not recommended to do this but my hair is quite dry so I do this daily.

I apply hair mask after washing my hair with shampoo (I'm using Redken's Extreme Hair Shampoo given to me by Salon Vim) and I'll wrap my hair with a shower cap. Usually, I will leave it there for about 10-15minutes, depending on the time I have. (If I'm in a rush I'll just wash it off like conditioner HAHAHA)

After that, I will wash the hair mask off using COLD WATER or room temperature water, depending on what you like to call it haha. NOT the heated hot water.

This helps to keep the goodness in your hair!!!

3) Hair Serum

Salon Vim gave me a bottle of L'Oreal's Mythic Oil so I've been using that for quite some time already.

I apply it every time after I wash my hair and before I head out of my house.

If I were to blow dry my hair, I will apply it before and after blow drying!

And lastly, if all else fails.... EMBRACE THE FRIZZINESS LOL.

Just so happen to attend two different movie premieres recently and I didn't take a lot a lot of pictures so I'll just combine them both together.

Attended Smurfs 2 Global Premiere! SUPER LOVE the movie I'll love to watch it again when it's out!

There was an event going on before the movie so my cousin and I joined the fun and got ourselves SMURF BALLOONS.

My papa smurf! Free one so must take HAHA. I queued for nearly an hour and I lost papa smurf on the train on my way home. :'(

Was lucky enough to get a picture with the Smurfs mascots because they left very quickly.

Last night, Jayley invited Rachell and I to the premiere of 'The Girl In Pinafore'. To be very honest, I never thought Singaporean's songs are nice haha but I changed my mind after watching this movie.
We have talents too! :D

Bumped into Noah!

I have been getting really really lazy recently. I don't even do thick makeup anymore because it's too tiring and troublesome.

I used to dress up for events like this but now I'm just...throwing on any comfortable top and bottom and OFF I GO! xD Not a good habit but at least I'm comfortable throughout the show. I'll probably get lazier and lazier as days go by and not put any makeup for events like this anymore LOL.

I don't know why the title of this post turn out like this.

Few days back was Rachell's birthday! I had a 'crazy' plan along with Zoe Raymond, Jayley and Hayley to give Rachell a surprise on her very special day.

Rachell had filming for Reelity that day so Zoe and I tried to contact anyone in charged or is related to play along with us haha.

All of us decided to meet up really early that day to prepare for the surprise.

AND GUESS WHAT LOL.

While we were waiting outside the place she was filming at, she came out for the toilet and spoiled the surprise PSHHHHH.

But nevertheless, I HOPE YOU STILL GOT SURPRISED LOL.

I LOVE YOU BBYLOVE!

AAAAND,

I got to MBS for my friend's birthday the other day...and by the other day I meant a few weeks back lol.

I'm sorry my posts aren't going up on time HAHA I'm too busy with nothing.

Anyway, I had a great time. :D

I'm a very short person, once again, for people who thought I'm very tall.

I'm tall when I take pictures alone because I happen to have a weird proportion where my body : leg is about 3 : 7 LOL.

Back to the nature - Kuantan Trip

Finally got what I wanted - a 3D2N vacation (or not)! :D

I went to Kuantan about a week back and I really enjoyed the NATURE there because we don't get to see things like that in Singapore.
BUT I have to admit how tiring the entire trip was...and how unlucky I was.
Not sure why I was the only one who got kissed my mosquitoes so many times, even on my face, eyelid, lips... Damn it was painful.
Also fell quite a lot of times and have crazy aches all over my body. T _ T

Nevertheless, it's a trip that will definitely be etched in my mind.

First day, we got to wake up at 3:30am to reach Kuantan at about 12:30pm.

First meal in Kuantan.
(And it's the only picture of food because the entire trip was so tiring that we can't even stop to snap a few pictures of the food.)

Visited the Batik Factory and it wasn't that cool HAHA.

After that, we got to a beach that's famous for...being black.
Yeah.

It was gorgeous. :D

The best thing is, we were the only people at the beach! :D #BeachPlease

AND they have the prettiest seashells!

We spent quite a lot of time there so the tour guide was kindda rushing us because...
we'll be going to another beach which will be a whole lot prettier.

WHAT?

I didn't like the second beach though. It's way too infested with people so it's a lot messier, noisier, dirtier and less "natural" compared to the previous one.

That's my uncle, stranded on a rock in the middle of nowhere.

That's all for that day though! It was tiring because we woke up really early and I couldn't really sleep in the bus so I watched movie throughout. xD

We had steamboat + BBQ at night, and had a really 'kampung' version of karaoke at the hut near our bunks.

SOOOOO the next day...

We woke up really early at 4:30am for hiking. ^_^"
I was told that we'll get to see a really nice waterfall with rainbow if we get up the mountain at the right time so I wasn't all that whiny about hiking HAHA. Anyway, recently I've been really sporty to keep myself healthy so hiking is a good choice...I guess.

We got to take an hour worth of bumpy ride. By bumpy, I really meant BUMPY. But it was super fun.

So after a hectic 1 hour of bumpy ride, we got to climb up the mountain...for another hour lol.

We weren't allowed to wear sports shoes since we'll have to cross rivers and stuff. I didn't have any hiking shoes (like why will I have it anyway?!) so I wore slippers and I nearly died.

Because the road's aren't that friendly lol. And this is the BEST ground already. The rest are just muddy and yucky.

AAAAANYWAY, I was expecting to see something similar to Victoria Falls HAHA but it turns out to be...

Not gonna lie haha my first reaction was "DID I JUST FREAKING HIKE FOR AN HOUR TO SEE THIS?!"

And there wasn't any rainbow. I feel cheated a little lol.

BUT!

There was a plunge pool yay!! :D
The water is really cooling so I guess it's kindda worth it in the end...

...until we got to get down the mountain, climb for another hour and take the bumpy ride for another hour.

Since I didn't get to see any rainbows, and I'm sure it's the last time I'll visit that mountain...here you go.

My grandma went hiking with all of us!!! She managed to get through everything, I feel so proud of her, and also quite paiseh for myself haha.

Anyway, after that, we got back to our bunk to wash up and head out almost immediately for the cave after lunch.

Man, was I not interested!

Honestly, there were quite a lot of interesting things to see but I was too tired to give a damn 'cause we got to climb the bumpy stairs to get into this cave.

Was told that this is a fossil of a fish because the cave used to be underwater and as years went by, it rose up and became a cave. ^_^ So everything we stepped on used to be underwater. Pretty interesting huh?

I guess that's all for Day Two since I can't find anymore pictures from that day haha.

DAY THREE!

We woke up at 4am for hiking LOLLOL, I KNOW.

This time round, we don't have to climb rocks and cross rivers, just stairs.......

WITH A THOUSAND OVER STEPS. *wipes perspiration*

And everyone told me that the view from the peak is amazing so I'm like "YOLO" HAHA just kidding.

I ran up and reached the peak in an hour - which means it was about 5:50am. HAHA everything was pitch black.
We waited for about an hour or two to see the sunrise.

I think this was about 6:30am. Get to see a lil already.

It was indeed, breathtaking.

We didn't get to see the sun rise though. The clouds were too thick. But the clouds were gorgeous.

:'D

We're quite unlucky actually. Cannot see rainbow, cannot see sun.

TAADANG! SUN! :D

We got down the mountain, washed up and headed out to get some souvenirs!

This bridge is god damn shaky. The kids jumped around on it and nearly got murdered by me.
I think I didn't get enough sleep so I was super grumpy.

After getting some products from Kuantan, Sungai Lembing, we headed to the mine.

That's me and my toned legs after all those vigorous exercises HAHAHAHA. I think I've climbed enough for a lifetime as a lazy person.

Mine painted white as an indication to show that it's safe for mining! #Smart #IKnow

That's all the pictures I have.

Just kidding, we took a few hundreds of pictures but only these can make it.
And I'm too lazy to edit anyway so these will do la.

My family + relatives from Malaysia. ^_^ Not all of them though haha I have a huge family.

So...hello there!
It has been a while since I sat down in front of my computer, thinking about what to blog and all.

I won't use busy as an excuse anymore because...it's an excuse HAHA.

I'm so lazy recently I haven't really found a time that I'm not lazy to blog about what's happening in my life.
Man, when did blogging become this tiring LOL.

It has been a happening September for me, how about you?
I always love September because it's my birthday month!!! BIRTHDAY = IMMUNITY and that means I can do everything I like and want. xD *flies away like ironman*

I can't blog about my birthday yet for some reason but I can't wait to show you guys some pictures from my birthday party!
It was really fun because it's not like a "party" where you get drunk and all that lol. It's just like another night with my friends - just that it's better with a big suite at The Sultan Hotel.

Unlike other 18th birthday party , mine was more like a kids' party haha but I really like it!!!

Perkies was there to cater for my birthday, super happy because there were PLENTY of macaroons for me to munch on.

Also got to take some really nice pictures at The Sultan Hotel since our suite is so big and pretty!

And my bbylove/laobu/jiejie did a lot a lot for my birthday!!! ^_^ THANK YOU THANK YOU SARANGHAMNIDA.

I will blog about it, hopefully very soon!

Salon Vim: Keratin Treatment

I ABSOLUTELY HATE FRIZZY HAIR.

So mad at my messy hair so I visited Salon Vim to deal with this problem. I know I've complained about my crazy frizzy hair too many times.
In pictures, my frizzy hair don't show that obviously because I either blew dry it nice enough for pictures or curled it beforehand.

THIS is what I meant by frizzy.

I have natural curly hair to begin with so the frizziness in my hair is really no joke.

I really liked Privy Hair Treatment because it instantly smoothens my hair but it doesn't last me very long so in about 3 days my super stubborn ultimate frizzy hair goes back to norm.

My stylist, Steve, recommended me this hair treatment called "Keratin Treatment"! It claims to last for a few months and will strengthen my frizzy hair!!!

Firstly, they washed my hair with keratin treatment's shampoo and left it on my hair for about 15 minutes.

After washing it away, they brought me back to my seat and applied this treatment cream which they left on my hair for an hour or so with this steam machine.

They didn't wash the treatment cream off but they blew dry it away! :O
After blowdrying, they straightened and blowdry my hair once more!!!

AND THE RESULT??

I am impressed!!!! The result reminds me a little of soft rebonding but it doesn't damage your hair and the straightened result will be gone after a few washes.

I am so impressed! My hair is still really soft and manageable after a week of this treatment ^_^

Of course, we'll still have to manage our hair properly after this treatment to keep it lasting.

My life is such a bore. O_O
I thought I have things all planned out for my long holiday. Or maybe I thought things will all come together smoothly and fix in all my free days but it didn't turn out so.

I had a hectic week before this so I naturally thought I will be busy the next.
So. Damn. Wrong.

I got stuck at home for more than a week, and my life revolved around YouTube videos, cable TV and stuff.

I kindda got myself into the world of kpop after my love for Running Man and after going for hangul classes haha.
I will say I've always loved the Korean culture (food, language..) but I'm not so much of a fan of kpop (still), but I do love kpop more than how I used to!

Anyway, despite the cray over Kpop recently, I still really like Japanese fashion for how daring they are when it comes to dressing up.

Rosebullet invited me, along with Qiuqiu and Yukie for their makeover event!!
Definitely a brand new experience for me because I haven't worked with Japanese before and my job was to style my readers haha. I'm glad my readers put their trust into my styling skills. xD It turned out pretty well, honestly!!!!

Hayley and I were damn mad because we were so hungry so we went all the way to The Cathay for Saizeriya HAHAHA.

Probably the 100th photo of Saizeriya's Escargot on my blog haha.
I was so surprised by the size of their escargot. I think it got shrunken 10 times in size wtf.

TAADANG!!! If you're looking for some joy while eating, you need to get Squid Ink Pasta HAHAHA. We couldn't stop laughing at each other while eating. It's not that hard to wash away so don't worry.

My favourite day every year...MY BIRTHDAY!!! :D

Don't you love birthdays as much as I do?

I love it because it's a reason for me to keep myself happy all day and do everything I like!

On top of that, I feel like a little queen with everyone being extra nice to me that day. xD

I received a new camera few days before my birthday from Olympus!

Like a little kid unwrapping his new toy, I couldn't wait to try out this new camera!

Anyway, check out the suite I celebrated my birthday in at The Sultan Hotel. :D

They gave me a bouquet of flowers as a gift too, so touched.

Just in case you're wondering, the collages are not made using Photoshop or anything!

Everything was made a lot more convenient with a new function on Olympus Stylus ZX-10, Photo Story. :D

What I like about it is that there are filters to the photo story as well so we don't have to worry if it will turn out really plain and boring.

The Photo Story theme I've used on the two pictures above is Zoom in/out effect. One picture is zoomed in!

I really like the quality of this picture! Not too sure about you, I'm very anal about photo qualities so some of my Instagram pictures has to be taken from my camera.

It's always a trouble for me as I have to transfer the pictures to my computer first before I can transfer it to my phone and post it on Instagram.

Thank goodness for this WiFi SD card called FlashAir, and Olympus's new app called O.I.Share, I get to transfer my picture on the camera, straight to my phone!

TAADANG! So easy!
I can upload it to Instagram right away after that since it will be saved in my camera roll. :)

Back to my birthday party....

Later that night, Rachell appeared with Alice in Wonderland themed Cupcakes and 20 balloons with "Read me" notes attached to them!

I told her that I wanted my 18th birthday to be in Alice in Wonderland theme because I'm a huge fan of that cartoon, but I didn't manage to do up a party in that theme due to the time constrain.

YAY THANK YOU FOR THE SURPRISE!

Behind "Read me" are little notes from my friends. You guys are the sweetest things, thank you so much for everything.

I love exploring hidden small cafes, settle down, sit back and have a cuppa coffee, don't you?

I can't really find time to do this but this is definitely a secret hobby I have! I love visiting these beautiful cafes.
Unlike everyone else, I don't EXACTLY just sit there and relax....I'll usually take out my camera and snap lots of pictures. xD

Long ago, I've visited this cafe located at Farrer Park called L'etoile. I enjoyed myself there so much I told myself I'll look for another cafe like this soon!

On many popular food blogs, THIS particular cafe was mentioned many times, and it absolutely caught my eyes!

This cafe is called Carpenter and Cook. :D

There are so many art filters available on my camera but I particularly like this art filter called Dramatic Tone on my camera because it works PERFECTLY well with these stunning cakes!!!!

The art filter function on my camera is amazing because it's so easy to use and it can bring out different moods just by using a different filter on the same picture.

I love how it emphasises the colours and details of the cakes. Made them look way too yummy...

There were a huge variety of desserts but the fickle me finally made some orders in the end. :D

This is the pop art filter. This time round, my pastries look a lot sweeter because of the colour enhancement!

Right to Left: Latte, Passionfruit Tart, Cappuccino, Chocolate Muffin, Lemon Drizzle Cake.

I love how easy the Photo Story function on my camera is! Beautiful pictures all captured in a collage within a few clicks! No need for good photo editing skills to get such professional looking montages. :D

Pin-hole effect on my camera to add on to the vintage feel!!!
I find it pretty amusing that my camera can capture such a gorgeous picture. All these art filters are taken using the camera itself so it cuts down photo editing time. Less trouble for a nicely filtered picture - can't wait to transfer all these pictures to my smartphone via WiFi!

I love the Passionfruit Tart so much! Not sure if you like pastries with that citrus sour taste! I don't like my dessert too sweet because I will get bored of them very quickly.

The lemon drizzle cake gives that slight sour taste as well, I LOVE IT!

My sister really liked the muffin~ It has that super strong chocolatey taste so if you're a chocolate lover you have to try that! :D

DO YOU LIKE COFFEE ART AS MUCH AS I DO?
I hate it when I have to stir the coffee art away. T _ T

Leaf design on my cappuccino and a heart on my latte. :)

The coffees are pretty decent. I'm not very picky when it comes to coffee hahaha, actually, they all taste almost the same to me.

The total bill of this high tea came up to $25.

I love how much thought they put into designing their cafe! I hope I can bring all these pretty cups home haha.

Can't stop using the dramatic mode on my camera HAHAHA it really makes everything so much more dramatic and BOOM in your face!!!!
