I went to Genting again.

I tweeted that I'm going to Genting and everybody's reactions are "AGAIN!?!?!" Yes honey, again lol.


We didn't buy amusement pass this time round so we just walked around. 


Went to Ripley's Believe it or not and Haunted Adventure.



I've visited Ripley's once but I haven't been to Haunted Adventure. Aaaaand Haunted Adventure was such a bore omfg.

Don't really have much to talk about for the trip hahaha 'cause we didn't really do anything much. It was a good quick getaway though.

Everyday is a happy day.

Everyday will be a happy day as long as we keep ourselves occupied with happy things.

About a week back, I went to Janice's place to bake some yummy cupcakes! Always wanted to do this but never have the time to. Also no place to go bake because my house's oven is too tiny for pastries-baking. :(


We spent the entire afternoon looking for the ingredients! 
Like people always say, when you need it, you can't find it. But when you don't need it, it's everywhere!! We couldn't find Buttermilk anywhere!!! 
We went to a few supermarkets and also a baking supplies shop just to look for buttermilk but they were ALL out of stock. After we bake, we went to meet Bancho for dinner and we found A WHOLE LOT of buttermilk at the shelves of Cold Storage omfg...

We don't have buttermilk so we used fresh milk + vinegar as a substitute.


And this is the mess ten minutes later lol.


LOOKS DAMN GOOD RIGHT?


AND IT TURNED OUT PRETTY GOOD...


Looks good and tastes good. ;)

Few days back, I joined Hot 91.3fm's Happython with Jian Hao and Ridhwan!! 
So glad they broke the 75 hours record of being on air live - and ended off with 77 hours at 11:11:11am!! :O

They filmed a video of us going around hugging people - and some really unexpected things happened HAHA damn funny and scary at the same time.

What is up recently?

Haven't been blogging about what happened recently because I'm a very lazy person.
I went out quite a bit these few weeks but I didn't bother to take out my camera to snap any pictures...which explains why the lack of blog posts HAHA.

Most of my 'readers' skim through my blog to look at the pictures instead of reading the content so I NEED to have pictures in my post else it wouldn't be a blog post LOL.

I've been going out every week because I thought I have to make full use of my holiday before it's over in like a week's time. OMG time passes so quickly when we're having a good time (I consider ANY time out of school = good time for now wtf).

Last week, I went to GGC's concert at Esplanade after making an appearance at Cineleisure for their CNOS2 finals! :D

I DIDN'T TAKE ANY PICTURES which explains why I didn't blog about it HAHA.

Yesterday, I met up with Hao, Rid, Cho, Jan and Luna to celebrate Rid's birthday at Seoul Garden! AND we didn't take any pictures again wtf.
But I took some pics before that! :D

Before that, we met up with Tosh, Shigga Shay and co because they needed to film a video hoho. I had to tag along like some gen pi cong since I needed to wait for Jianhwancho (what a weird name) HAHA.

The day before that, I went out with Jianhwancho + my brother. THAT EXPLAINS WHY I'M SO DEAD TIRED THE NEXT DAY OMFG.

Hello sweethearts.

Ever since a zillion years back (jk not so long), all of you girls have been asking me to do a flea to sell my clothes! 

To be very honest, I don't have a lot of clothes. All the time, I wear sponsored clothes, so I don't see the need to buy clothes for myself HAHA I think it's a waste of money (though sometimes I still buy quite a bit hahahaha) - which explains why I don't have a scary amount of clothes to wear like every other girl. 

BUT not ALL the sponsored apparels fit me even though I wish they do. After a while, I accumulated quite an amount, so finally, I'll be selling MY CLOTHES AT THE FLEA yay!


Now all of you get to have the pretty clothes I own but cannot fit lol. PFT. I know all of you will like them 'cause I LOVE THEM.

I'll be selling my clothes with Janice (who will be selling her lovely clothes as well) and Jian Hao (who will be there to sell his Loh Yeh Moh Yeh T-shirts)! Bancho will be there too!! To...yknow, be a statue or something. :D 

Most of the clothes I'm selling are brand new. Only some are preloved which I decided to let go at a cheaper price.


Like these two! Pre-superloved HAHAHA. I bought them because I saw them in VIVI magazines.

As mentioned in the previous post, Jian Hao, Janice and I had a flea at Scape yesterday!
The response was good although I can safely say more than 50% of the people came to buy haohao's LYMY t-shirt and take pictures with us hahaha ahem.
BUT nevertheless, it was a fun day and it was great to meet all of you.


The crowd about 10 minutes before we even start. :O You guys are craycray awesome haha.


Choochoo was there to join us! And no he wasn't just a statue HAHA I'm glad he was there to help. ^_^

It's actually quite tiring to do this though it was quite a lot of fun HAHA.

Whiter teeth

Ever since quite some time ago, when I post pictures of me smiling with my teeth, people comment on how much they like my white teeth.
And to me, that's a huge compliment, thank you very much haha.


And because of that, I thought I should do a post about this!

Having white teeth isn't really a big deal to me some time back because I thought people wouldn't focus so much on it more than the neatness of your teeth. So to me, having NEAT, STRAIGHT teeth is a MUST. I thought having straight teeth makes you look more presentable and clean.

I was lucky to be born with straight teeth.
My bottom row's slightly crooked and I've been contemplating to go for braces for my bottom row since forever but my parents and a whole lot other people disagree with my thought so I guess I'll give it a pass.



So for quite some time, I had completely no problem with my teeth until one day, I looked at this dude with super yellow teeth and I was so grossed out. I went home and took the mirror to check my teeth and since then, I got SUPER conscious about the colour of my teeth haha.
Before that, my mom has been telling me how yellow my teeth are already but I don't care lol.

I'm born with yellow teeth, so no matter how many times I brush my teeth and no matter how clean I keep it, it will never be white.


From then, I really want to know how to get whiter teeth!
So..here are some ways that I thought might be useful for you - if you want to have nice white teeth.


Here's a closer view of my teeth.



1) Tooth Bleaching

One of the most effective but probably the worst way to get whiter teeth.
There are many ways to bleach your teeth and I guess the most common method is the UV teeth bleaching - which they make use of UV light to bleach your teeth.
The difference between WHITENING and BLEACHING is that whitening restores your natural teeth colour but bleaching gets beyond that - which means it whitens your teeth further than your natural teeth colour.

And why did I say it's the worst way? No I'm not some teeth professional haha but I was so interested 'cause I've heard so much about UV teeth bleaching so I googled it and found out that it's actually so bad.
Firstly, it's pretty darn expensive and secondly, there is a high risk that your teeth will be damaged from the chemical. Your teeth will become sensitive.
AND THAT MEANS PAIN. NOBODY LIKES PAIN. 

But if you're desperate I guess you can go for it.

2) Whitening Strips

Sounds like the best idea to get whiter teeth!! HAHA. So many people recommended me to try Crest Whitening Strips.
I've googled about it - and it's not so bad for your teeth!! :D



They said there are no bleaching agent in the whitestrips although they contain hydrogen peroxide as an active ingredient.
Apparently it's just removing stains from your teeth very very effectively so it whitens to your natural white!!
So from here, I think my teeth isn't really born yellow HAHA but just stained with a lot of stubborn bad asses. However, Crest whitestrips are pretty costly too T _ T
Which is why I haven't try it. Still thinking if I should try it out.

3) Toothpolish

LASTLY, this is the thing I'm using now!! I replaced my regular toothpaste with this. :D

I've been using this since three months back and stopped about a month ago because I was waiting for it to go on a sale again. BUT IT NEVER DID LOL.
I really wanted whiter teeth but I can't bear to splurge so much on something very expensive so I decided to try this toothpolish out since it was on a sale at about $9!


At first I thought it's not really working 'cause I don't see my teeth turn whiter BUT I get a lot more compliments about my white teeth than before la hahahahaha so I think it's really working.

One of my friend even got it after seeing my teeth 'cause she thought my teeth really got whiter.
I still don't believe that my teeth got whiter until I stopped using it for a month and resumed to the normal toothpaste AND WHAT THE HECK my teeth turned a lot more yellow T _ T

So I quickly splurged on it la (actually it's just about a dollar more without discount hahahhaha I'm just being super stingy) and now I'm back to using it!

They claimed you can see the result in 2 weeks time.


And the reason why this is effective for me is because I LOVE TO DRINK TEA and tea is one of the MOST stubborn bad ass that stains my teeth super badly and make it crazy yellow.

YOU CAN GET THIS AT GUARDIAN/WATSONS FOR ABOUT $10.80. 

These are the three ways to get whiter teeth!

After researching and looking through these ways, I think we probably already have normal-white teeth so bleaching is a little unnecessary. Maybe if we remove ALL the stains on our teeth we'll unveil super crazy white teeth that we're already born with HAHAHA.
One way to reduce stains is to rinse your mouth with water after drinking tea/coffee or anything that is prone to staining your teeth.

OH and to end off, a few tricks to give others a illusion of you having AWESOME white teeth in pictures...

- BRIGHTEN YOUR PICTURES 
Because I like my pictures crazy bright so they make my teeth look whiter at the same time hahaha.

- USE RED LIPSTICK
Creates this crazy huge contrast and makes your teeth look whiter.

Cathay Motion Picture Award

CATHAY MOTION PICTURE AWARD (CMPA) IS BACK!!

Moving forward, it is set to stay as Cathay Organisation's annual signature event.

CMPA is a short film competition created to fulfill Cathay Organization's conviction towards the development of Singapore's film industry.
Cathay Organisation pioneers the path as the first and only movie exhibitor in Singapore to organise its own short film competition.

Oh yes before I end...

My new nails I did before school reopened. I did simple french nails and cut my nails short because my diploma is Wellness, Lifestyle & Spa management lol. Which means I have to have short nails as grooming is part of my grades. :(
And if you see Ridhwan laughing at me, calling me a cleaner, it's because of the horrendous uniform I have to wear twice a week.

But I'm glad I have a nail sponsor to do pretty nails for me before school starts.

Took the time machine back to the 80s the other day.
Went filming for Shigga Shay's upcoming MV "Limpeh" :D (actually didn't really help much haha just sit there and watch show wtf)


I was supposed to be there very early and Cho's time is supposed to be there a few hours later than me HAHA but I *ahem* asked *ahem* him to accompany me over at my time and he did. :D YAY!

Took quite a bit of pictures in my phone O_O
I didn't even realise and I think it's gonna be quite crazy for me to instagram all of them so I decided to post them here instead.


Back alley where they filmed and I watched show hahaha. All of them are soooo hardworking one lol filming MV isn't as easy as what you thought. :O


Also a picture of me just in case you miss my face already.... HAHA.

DRx: Essential Facial (Plus)

Few days ago, I made a visit to DRx Medispa for a quick facial session! :D
I know it's hard to believe but....ahem, it's my very first facial so I was quite scared of how it will turn out.


Before you read on, I don't have any pretty pictures of myself in this post so please don't panic and run away after you see my no makeup pictures lol. 

DRx Medispa has a different ambience compared to DRx Clinic (you can read my previous post on DRx Clinic HERE).

At DRx Medispa, they have warm lighting and soothing music so it is definitely a very comfortable and relaxing place for your facial.



After using a month of products from Derma-X range, they prepared a facial session for me to quicken the process to having the flawless face I wanted!

For this facial session, they did Essential Facial (Plus) on me!


Just as the name stated, this facial treatment is essential for the maintenance of a good complexion!
It consists of 4 steps.


1) Ultrasonic Cleansing 

Here, they use an ultrasound device to eliminate dead cells from skin's surface and loosen impurities, oil, blackheads and whiteheads within the pores.
After this, it will be easier for them to remove the impurities from your face, without damaging the surrounding skin.

2) Microdermabrasion (Only for Essential Facial Plus)

This involves the removal of superficial layers of the skin with a special machine.
This procedure results in clearer looking skin and if repeated over a period of time, gives skin a smoother texture and reduce fine lines!
DRx Microdermabrasion was awarded a 4-star "Must-try" rating by Female magazine.

3) Extraction

Many of my friends told me facial is so painful because of extraction! I was so scared of extraction so when the therapist told me "I will be doing manual extraction now." I was like "*o* noooooo."
BUT!
I didn't turn out as bad as what my friends said even though I have to admit it's still very painful, plus this is my first facial, so I guess there are really a lot of clogged pores and impurities they need to get rid of.

4) Ultrasonic Nutrient Delivery 

From here, they use an ultrasound device to deliver the goodness such as PG vitamins and essential compounds into your skin!
They used Vitamin C on me for a firmer, younger skin. It is also known to produce an overal skin lightening effect and a more even skin tone!
And YES we can see the difference right after the treatment.


They ended off the facial treatment with a Therapeutic Mask.
MY FAVOURITE PART haha because after the extraction, you will feel like you really need something to cool your face down.
They applied this really thick and cold mask on my face and let me rest for a while. :D

This is how my face looks like, right after the facial.


There is no downtime after the facial - which means you can go out without looking like a complete clown right after haha.
However, your face will still be slightly swollen and have some slight red marks caused by extraction.

BUT!
Within a day, they will all be gone!!! :D


I did the facial a day before filming and it was so smooth and flawless the next day it looks like I have no pores at all lol.

I am still using Derma-X products!
The biggest problem on my face will be my horrible forehead and as you can see from the picture above, it's pretty cleared up already, leaving just a few acne scars which will, hopefully, be gone very very soon!

Felt the urge to do something to my hair the other day so I visited Salon Vim...

I think the title of this post is enough to summarise everything I want to say haha.


I took some pictures for my new blogskin and ended up with the geek look instead because it's quite unlike the usual look I will do!

Maybe having a more different look on my blogskin will be better since you can see my usual look almost everywhere else, like in my blog posts or on instagram (which you can see at the side bar on the left).


It's quite funny also, the other day, I put makeup to take pictures for my banner and immediately regretted 'cause I'm going to do my hair the next day lol.


This is the look I've decided on...


With my new and current favourite hoodie from W ♥ C!! I got it online. :D


I'm afraid people wouldn't recognise me with my geek specs on (just in case I look too different with it or smth) so I took some pics with specs and some without haha.


MY HOODIE SUPPOSED TO BE "I'm poor but good looking" but it turned out to be I'M POO because my hair blocked the R wtf.


I hope you like my new blogskin though! It's something a lot different from the previous one haha and I'm really quite bored of the previous one.

All these little things

It has been a while since I did a post about what I've been doing in my life...So here's one!!
Ever since I started school, I don't have the time to blog about my life anymore. Like, what's there to blog about anyway.. T _ T It's just SCHOOL, EAT, SLEEP, SCHOOL, EAT, SLEEP.

And every weekend, when I finally get the time to hang out with my friends, I just want to lepak and not snap a lot a lot of pictures. Partly also because I'M LAZY TO DO THAT LA lol.
PLUS I usually hang out till late on Saturday, and I have to rush home to do my homework for hangul lesson the next afternoon. O_O
So, I've been rather busy for the past one month or so.


So lazy that I haven't been putting much effort in my makeup also - which is also another reason why I don't wanna take pictures with my camera.
AND I LOOK SO TIRED RECENTLY. :(
But I admit the picture above is quite nice lol. HAHAHAHAHAHA. ALL HAIL IPHONE CAMERA AND FILTERS!

Okay enough of the complains haha, hung out with Rid and Hao on Friday. We followed BT to collect car so that's why you saw all the atas car pics on our instagram.

On OUR Porsche. It was ours for that ten minutes.




And also on the convertible, looking very cool as always *cough*...


You can see hao's face, not looking very pleased because...


It's actually not that fabulous on a convertible because of the wind HAHA.

The next day, my family wasn't around so I was all alone at home.
AND I DECIDED TO COOK.


This is my take on KIMCHI FRIED RICE.
Which didn't turn out as good as what it looks. AS EXPECTED wtf.

At night, Jian Hao and I went to Swee Choon for dinner. Both of us were starving la so we ordered like some gluttons.


So stupid HAHA. We were so shocked at the amount that we couldn't stop laughing omg.
Even the waiter was so surprised lol.
"You sure you can finish all?"




O____O

That's all for this post!!! And hopefully I'll get to blog something like this again soon.

Anyway, I made a new video!! :D No mirror makeup challenge.



Even though I think I look bad without makeup, BUT NOT AS BAD AS HOW I LOOK IN THE VIDEO lor!!! I'm guessing it's because of the harsh light from my new ringlight and also the bad angle haha.
Or maybe those are just excuses wtf.

DIY: Plain old sneakers to Studded Wedges Sneakers

If you have no idea what Wedges Sneakers are, just like the name, it's actually wedges + sneakers!

I'm really really short so I LOVE anything that gives me height. Wedges do the best job because they give me height and don't hurt even if I wear them throughout the day!

As much as I like anything that gives me height, I love SNEAKERS so much because they are so comfortable and they make me look very sporty LOL.
When I heard of the current trend - WEDGES SNEAKERS - I was immediately SOLD lol.

Sadly, Wedges Sneakers are not largely sold in Singapore and are usually selling at a cray price (Like usually not anything less than $60??) which a very stingy person like me won't want to splurge anyhow on, although I really like them.

So before I decided to get my hands on them, HOW ABOUT LET'S MAKE ONE TOGETHER?!?!

Let's start off with studding your sneakers up..


- A pair of cheap sneakers (the cotton ones are easier to work with than leather ones and are cheaper) I got mine from Cotton on for $5 during a sale wtf. It's so ugly so I only wore it once HAHAHA.

- STUDS
I got mine online and I'll be using the flat studs for this tutorial because they are the easiest to work with.

- GLUE
I'm using the epoxy one WHICH sadly didn't work very well.


A better picture of the ugly sneakers. I'll love to get a pair of black one but there were only grey ones around so...yeah, might as well.

I decided to stud this piece of thing on my sneakers only.
And since it's made of cloth, I can just poke my studs through it and secure it by pressing the sharp ends flat using the end of a tweezer.



GET IT? :D
Very easy one!

Stud up the whole row.


And do it on both sneakers!


Now it's ten times nicer than the boring old $5 sneakers!!!

I'll love to put more spikes at the side of the sneakers but my glue didn't work well so I couldn't. :(

AND NOW, ON TO THE PART WHERE YOU TRANSFORM YOUR SNEAKERS TO WEDGES!!!!!!

AHEM.

Go to Daiso and get these fantastic "height increase" shoe soles...


Just put them in your sneakers! Daiso sells lots of different kind of 'height increase' shoe soles.
The one I got is probably only 2 cm high.

Most sneaker wedges are about 10 cm high so I suggest you buy a few of these shoe soles and stack 'em up if Daiso don't sell any shoe soles that are more than 2 cm high.


LIKE THIS! :D

Make sure you don't be too greedy and put way too much until your heel is exposed at the end, or too high to the extent that you can't walk properly in the sneakers.

You can choose to stick them down or just place them in without sticking them down so you still can take them out if you don't want your sneakers to be wedges for a day or smth HAHA.

IT'S JUST SO SIMPLE!!!
